Singer / Songwriter Rayon Nelson has taken 2019 by storm with a number of single releases in the first half of the year in addition to the recent release of soul touching EP 'Closer'.
Lead track off the EP is ‘Made of Gold‘, brilliantly complemented by the cinematic visuals of Emeka Nnuroko.
Nelson explains: “The video portrays a drunk middle aged man, who crashed his car and then sees a vision of an attractive girl who lures him. The song is about having standards in life but somehow you find your self falling… in the video the guy basically has a break down and lured by a girl he thought was good for him but turns out the other way. This is how it connects”
Made of Gold showcases soulful articulation of Nelson’s past experiences that comes effortlessly to the artist, with passionate, enticing vocals via expressive storytelling of personal imperfections. The gentle combination of a guitar backing track and captivating lyrics presents Nelson’s life explorations that may not have always ended up as they first seemed.
Keep your ears peeled for more of Rayon Nelson, he about to blow up.
